• Greetings, I’m new to blogging, PHP, and CSS. I’ve had an HTML website up for a few years so I’ve tred to copy the look of it to a WordPress theme. http://www.nesurfari.com/ is the original Html page and http://www.nesurfari.com/blog/ is my blog site. I’ve modified Theron Parlin’s Benevolence theme to more resemble my HTML pages.

It works fine in Safari, Camino, and Firefox but not in IE on Mac using OSX. My PC friends have told me that it works in Netscape on PC but IE is pretty botched up as the content of the page displays below the bottom of the navbar in my sidebar.

Any comments, criticisms, and help would greatly be appreciated! Mahalo.

  • For being new, you’re doing great! Much better than this newbie is in converting from a HTML site.

In my Safari (10.3.8) the Saturday column on the calendar slides out of the white box outline.

God, this Southern Californian can’t imagine surfing in New England, not even in the summer time. You easterners are tough!

if you wanted better SEO, you might change “/blog/” –> “/surf-news/” or something like that.

I dont know how to fix that problem you are having though…
    Otherwise your site looks great.

For IE on a mac we all have the same choice. Ignore them or hack ourselves into madness 🙂
