[resolved] CSS Problems, pages not rendering properly (5 posts)

    Good morning.
I have just installed WordPress 2.6.5 on a Windows Server 2003 box, IIS6, PHP 5.2.6, and MySql Server 5.0.
The install went well although my pages now render improperly, seemingly not using the style sheets.
Thinking this may be the result of a corrupted file somewhere, I downloaded a fresh version of WordPress, unzipped it into a new directory, pointed IIS to the new directory, created a new database, and re-installed.
    Same problem.
    Any suggestions?
Please do not suggest I abandon IIS 6 for Apache. I really need this to work on an IIS server.

It's really helpful if you provide a link, if you cant do the following..

    "seemingly" ..

how about checking your source, looking at the stylesheets that are being called by your browser, and attempting to load that/those file(s) in your browser. What happens?

That would pretty much rule out the ambiguous seemingly, and would certainly improve your chances of actually getting your issue resolved.

    Update:
I've discovered that when the blog is accessed from one machine, using IE8 Beta, the stylesheets work properly. When accessed from a machine using IE7, stylesheets do not function.
The blog can be see here: http://66.42.151.146
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Nevermind. Figured it out myself. Had the website address set to http://localhost. While set there, the only machine that rendered pages properly was the server itself.
Changed it to machine name, now CSS renders properly from within my network. Once ready to go live on the internet, I'll change it again to website name. Should be good to go.
