Ok, Igive up. I am stuck.
I have spent the last few hours trying to sort ourt my css so that it will work in both Firefox and IE at a resoltuion of 1024x768. I know there are a few issues when viewed in 800x600 but I can live with that for now. One step at a time they say.
I have managed to strip my css right down from 18kb and it is now just under 9kb - so it does not have too much excess junk to cause problems anymore.
The css does not validate when I include -moz-border-radius: this allows for curved borders in FF, although not in IE. However, this is NOT the element that is giving me problems in IE. The same problem occurs when the 'moz' is taken out.
So, I am trying to work out two things:
1. How do I stop the menu from falling part in IE [the pics start to move down a line or two here and there and from that point on it goes awry - this happens after 'Daily Dose' but it could be affected by something above that point]
2. Is there a means of placing a commmand in the css which will allow for rounded borders in IE and FF?
Believe me, I have tried to work this out myself and am only posting this on the forum on the off chance that anyone else has had the same problems and knows a solution.
I have also tried searching for an answer but cannot find one.
If anyone can help I will be truly grateful. Thanks :)
