• Hello,

I was trying to do some minor customizations of my site, that uses the Twenty Eleven theme. I am seriously new to CSS and don’t really understand it.

I installed the Child Theme Configurator plug-in, and used it to create a child theme. But I don’t know if I did that right.

    My customizations were:
    – Removing the search bar from the navigation bar (based upon this thread)
    – Widening the content of the default template to eliminate the white spaces on either side (based upon this thread)

It looks like it worked, but now I have a weird little “s” and extra padding at the top left of all my pages. See my site here:

Can anyone help me remove that or clean it up somehow?

I must have made an error somewhere but cannot figure out how to go back to my original (non-child) theme. I think I did not do that process correctly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    ZT
