I have a pages menu, but one of the buttons is a Category(news) rather than a Page. The "current" state for the button is a different colour than the pages links. How can I change this, I can't find the css for those category links.
you can see the problem on this page using the top menu: select news then select a different one.

Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS work.

please do not state the obvious :)
<li id="menu-item-67" class="menu-item menu-item-type-taxonomy menu-item-object-category current-menu-item menu-item-67"><a href="http://mantravisual.com/sc/?cat=7">News</a>
[Please post code or markup snippets between backticks or use the code button.]
so what exactly is the css tag in all of that?
thanks
Sorry? Do you know anything about CSS and classes?

you know, you could just answer the question I asked in the first place, unless you don't know
I've been using CSS for over 13 years but I suspect that you do not understand how it works. I'm sorry but it is beyond the scope of these forums to teach basic CSS. Try using these resources instead:

so would it hurt you to tell me which css tag I should be looking for?
you know...be a bit helpful...I may not have been designing with a typewriter for 13 years but I am making the effort to learn this stuff, so give a guy a break..
