CSS for alternating comment colors with author differentiation: HOW TO (2 posts)

    Greetings.

    I thought I would try to give back to the WP community, so I've written up a how-to. I wanted to have alternating comment colors (different from the normal background color) and then differentiate/highlight author comments based on the author of the post.

    I scrabbled together the code from here and there, but it took a while to get working, so I thought it might be a good post.

    Screenshots and exact PHP/CSS included.

    This would be a great addition to the Codex. Thanks for the great doc.
