    Hello,

    What CSS editors do you recommend for building/modifying WordPress themes? I have some coding knowledge, but I'd like to be able to build a theme the way I want it. Any suggestions?

    Thank you.

    Dashboard --> Appearance --> Edit

    Failing that, if you don't like minimal or want to do your changes offline, any text editor that understands the .css file extension. I use gEdit. No frills. Just syntax highlighting.

    I use Vim, but it may not be your cup of tea. In this case you can try notepad++.

    TextPad comes with syntax highlighting for multiple file types - including PHP, HTML & CSS.

    Thanks for the suggestions. What about programs for coding beginners?

    Same. If you're looking for something WYSIWYG for CSS, forget it.

    At least, that's my opinion. If you want to mess with CSS, you've got to learn CSS. I don't think there are any satisfactory shortcuts.

    Others may disagree though.

    Cheers
