Google Language Translator
[resolved] CSS conflict with wp-admin and WPide, Events Manager et al. (11 posts)

    The latest Google Language Translate messes up the display of WPide, Events Manager and possibly other plugins in wp-admin. The conflicting CSS is on style.css lines 35-38:

    .metabox-holder {
      width:65%;
      float:left;
    }

    For our use case at least, the best fix would be to not have the plugin load any scripts in the admin panel unless viewing the plugin's own setting page.

    Hello,

    we have the same problem with your google-translator-plugin!
    In the frontend it works very well, but:
    It crashes our dashboard, everything is resized.
    Our problem is the same like Daedalon has:

    The CSS of WordPress Google-Translator-Plugin
    .metabox-holder {
    width:65%;
    float:left;
    }
    crashes and resizes different things in our Backend!
    Your help is really appreciated!

    Thank you in anticipaton for an update shortly!
    Jay

    Hi jaygeee, this is now fixed. Please download version 3.0.6.

    This issue came up because I was trying to fix how scripts were firing when the plugin loaded, then all of sudden I found that styles were being loaded into the entire admin, which was incorrect.

    Now all is fixed and life is great for all :)

    Let me know if your issues are solved!

    Rob

    The "bootstrap-icons.css" is crashing the FontAwesome-Pack ;)
    My one-third-colums are shrinked to 1/10 columns xD

    jaygeee, sorry for that - forgot that file is not needed. So go ahead and delete it :)

    I will remove from the next update, which will be very soon, so we can avoid this with other users.

    Thanks!
