CSS color doesn't match image (4 posts)

    Hey guys,

    Here's a question for you color experts. If I attribute a theme color through CSS, and design a graphic with the same exact hex code, shouldn't those colors match? Should I assign a color profile different than sRGB?

    I'm assuming you are doing this and they don't match...have a link so we can take a look?

    Hi figaro,

    I think I fixed the problem. After I flattened my image in Photoshop, I didn't check that the image wasn't affected by flattening. So this confirms that as long as the image is saved with a web-safe profile like sRGB, it should match the colors in CSS.

    My CSS styles now match my "widget bar" at the bottom right:
