  3. You can learn about them at google. Seriously, google CSS and start from there :)

As for themes, start at Theme Development, but I'd suggest getting a basic understanding of HTML first.

ok. I'm looking through Theme Development right now and I feel like I'm reading another language.. I think I have a vague Idea of html but will start from there.. Thanks

  5. Heh! It always starts that way, marito. Don't worry. :)

The other way to start is find a theme that looks kinda like you want and start playing. Don't be afraid to screw everything up (but do keep backups).

LoL... I've screwed everything up so many times... I think I'm over that part... I have a theme in my head. I just need to get it out! I found a site that takes you step by step through html and css and other things..

    http://www.w3schools.com

    seems simple enough..

    Thanks Ipstenu

what program can i use to create my theme? i know to use notepad to edit and create..

  8. Piece of paper? No, really, my best themes were doodled on the train home from work. Notepad is fine. You may want to look into TextPad, or some other app with context highlighting. It's not required, but I find it helps.
