Hi!
My site is Attachment and Integration Methods
I’m using 2010 Weaver V1.3.2.
My skill level with CSS is near zero. My skill with HTML is slightly better, but only slightly. I humbly apologize for any worse-than-obvious questions, or anything that’s already been addressed on the forum. (I have searched here, and found answers for a number of things, but not for my current question.) And if it turns out I’m asking the wrong question, please feel free to tell me of even better ways to accomplish what I want to do! (or offer any other ideas.)
Can I set up my CSS to set my preferred table format? Same basic table format shows up similarly on a bunch of pages, so I want them formatted essentially the same.
Currently I’ve been writing the table info in each page, but the one I like best after some tweaking is this one:
Brain Gym
While this one, Vision Therapy, that I could swear has the same parameters, has different cell / column widths than the other one.
Also, I’ve noticed that if I enter a table without formatting/parameters in the HTML coding, using the visual window, it still defaults to somewhat different formatting, which I’ve been assuming is because of something in the existing CSS.
So I’m interested in knowing wh,at’s the difference between those two tables, but I’d also like to put the basic format in my CSS.
Does it matter where in the CSS I put the table parameters?
There are table parameters already in the CSS – but it looks like they pertain specifically to certain elements, like the page header or the menus. Is that correct, and do those settings apply to or spill over to other elements?
Thanks!
Kathleen
