Css absent on main site

    I’m just setting-up my first multisite – with all sites as sub-directories on the same domain.

    On the main (published into root) site, the css is absent. It’s ok on the other sites.

    What might I have done wrong?

    I can see that it’s related to the .htaccess file (because if I remove the WP rewrite stuff it displays correctly, but the other sites vanish) but I don’t know what the fix is.

    UPDATE: it now appears to be ok. Perhaps it was caching or something, but having removed and then re-added the WP rewrite stuff to the .htaccess file things appear as they should.

    Sounds like the .htaccess wasn’t right originally. Or the server cached.
