CSPAM, Three Strikes 1.1 and Three Strikes 1.2 Alpha have been updated to check for trackback spam. Please download them again to get the updated versions. Nothing special to be done, just replace your existing plugins.

    Three Strikes 1.2 Alpha Download

The CSPAM plugin can be downloaded from the same link as has been privately provided to you through email. I take this opportunity to promote it again. If you would like to participate in the CSPAM project, please email me or leave a comment and I will send you the download link for the plugin.

    Please report bugs.

Mark, I never did understand this whole CSPAM project thing completely, I take it as some central blacklist kinda thing. Would appreciate some explanation if you'd be kind enough & you can send them both(the plugin & explanation) to me[at]igeek[dot]info. :)

Amit - maybe you would like to peruse the information that Mark has already published on his work.

Such information is better on a site than tucked away inside an inbox :)

Since updating the 1.1 plug-in I get sent to the FBI whatever I put. (I also installed the comment preview shortly after and I wonder if that's affected something. But I've got rid of that and still have this problem.

I've checked the blacklist and my IP hasn't been added.

Mark answered my query on his site. There was a blank line in my blacklist!

The folder and file it's supposed to create don't get created for me.

Oh, I understand now. Not very clear. This was also helped along by the whole zip amount of files were not inside their own folder.

What does this plugin do with the spam? What's the use of the plugin and not just those terms? The site doesn't have any description. (And it mentions an e-mail, doesn't seem to public intended.)

When I posted a comment, a whole slew of MySQL errors came up.
