I’ve been using the Cross-references plugin for quite some time now and it has been a great tool for linking posts. I’m in the process of upgrading to WP 2.5.1 and I’m testing out all my plugins on a test blog. I went to add some cross references and noticed that the Manage Posts admin page no longer lists the post ID. How do we use this plugin if we can’t see the ID anymore? Is there a way to add the ID back to the admin page?

    Thanks,
    David

I found the solution. The Reveal IDs for WP Admin 2.5 plugin adds the IDs back to the admin UI.

It would be much more preferable if this was part of the standard admin UI rather than force users to build a plugin for it.

    Great plugin!!
I am having some trouble getting it to work for me though on a page (it’s in draft form, so I cannot send you a link).

Here’s my code… I would be quite grateful if you could tell me what I am doing wrong (or if there is a more extensive set of documentation online).

    Thanks!

    <p> Print a grab-and-go [cref </news-articles-especially-for-brokers-agents/10-ways-to-save-time-with-mobile-manager/> <home_text>], suitable for your next meeting.

    Hello nooozeguy,

if the page you want to refer to has this slug:

    10-ways-to-save-time-with-mobile-manager

you put a cross-reference to it with this code:

    Print a grab-and-go [cref 10-ways-to-save-time-with-mobile-manager], suitable
    for your next meeting.

If on the link above you do not want the page title but the text “Mobile
manager” to be shown, you can place this:

    Print a grab-and-go [cref 10-ways-to-save-time-with-mobile-manager Mobile
manager], suitable for your next meeting.

    Hope this helps.
