   I tried cropping an image in media. I can select the crop area, then I click crop, save, but nothing changes. The full size image reappears..

   Has anyone else had this issue?

   Yes, I cannot get it to crop either. However, if you do something to the image like flip it (reverse it) or turn it clockwise or counterclockwise and then crop it, it does crop. It will also crop if you turn the image clockwise, then turn it back first. This is version 3.0.1.

   OK, I fixed it. If you have Regenerate Thumbnails plugin activated, deactivated it. Also, note that the crop button activates after you make a selection, in case you have not yet made one.
