   Under Settings > Media it's only possible to:

   "Crop thumbnail to exact dimensions"

   When you have the function let us use it on all formats.. This should be available in WordPress asap:

   • Crop medium to exact dimensions
   • Crop large to exact dimensions

   I second this request. The current workarounds have either broken in 2.9+ or are very cumbersome.
