Creating WikiPedia-like Content Pages (4 posts)

    Hi All,

I am creating a website which has lots of pages. There will be 3 categories for upcoming schedules, current schedules & teachers, with at least 8 posts (guitar, cello, violin etc) under each. Under teachers, there will be 2-3 teachers per instrument. In addition there is an About page, Videos, Blog and Image gallery.

So far everything has worked fine, but my biggest problem is how to arrange all this content, and provide navigation from the home-page to ~32-40 pages, without going three levels deep.

I want to create category page templates, where I can list sub-categories, posts under those categories at the top of the content. When someone clicks on any of the links, the page should scroll down to that post, instead of navigating to a new page.

Is there a way I can achieve this? I would prefer that all the links have their own URL, a-la Wikipedia. That is why I am using Wikipedia as a perfect example, however, it is coded differently.

    Thanks,
    -tejas

yes you just need to create permalinks or a blog for your website and then when you create a new page save it as a html file. for more info on this check out this site for examples.

    Whitehats,

Have you had a look at the "WordPress Wiki Plugin" - it adds wiki type functionality to WordPress.
