creating website

    I have followed a website – create a website step by step.
    1st was to register a domain with godaddy.com
    2nd was to register a host with gatorhost.com
    3rd was to install fantastico – wordpress
    Now I’m to open and create a website, but cannot find my domain and the page that is to appear in order to complete and publish. Please help. Obviously I don’t know what I am doing

    Did you set your DNS severs to Hostgator’s inside the admin for GoDaddy?
    Here are some instructions:
    http://www.hostgator.com/dns

    If you have, what happens when you try to access your website?

    I receive a white screen and a check next to work offline which I cannot seem to disable. I’ve told godaddy about this and they said it would take 24-48 hours that was 4 days ago. I just checked with them again and had to submit gator host as my server which the reply is 24-48 hours !!! Also, I can’t log into gavatar, they keep telling me I have the wrong info. ect. Not crazy about the purple guy LOL
