I'm trying to create a directory of niche businesses on my WordPress based website. It would be ideal if there was some sort of a plug-in/solution that will let me embed a dynamic list in a Page within my WordPress theme...

What can I do to achieve this?

    Thanks,

krembo99, it would be nice if you could maybe click on the headings of columns to change the sorting criteria, or maybe view items that have certain value, etc...These are very nice luxuries that I could live without, though...

you can do that with a bit of Ajax knowledge ..
There is some plug to make tables, but I do not know if it has this "dynamic" feature you need.

This actually comes very close to what I need. But, it doesn't support 2.5+!!!!

krembo99, no I didn't actually try to run it.

But man, it's actually very simple to add a list to a Page in WordPress. I created the table in Excel, then copy/paste'd it to the page and it formatted just fine (with the alternating row colors and everything). I'm not sure, but my adding of Advanced TinyMCE, which supports tables, might have helped.

    Thanks for your support.

I am glad you worked it out, but you asked for some "dynamic" features..
How does excel respond to that ?

krembo99, no dynamic features in the list that is currently on my website. It's always like this with me: I start by demanding high features and always settle for way less.

I said in the beginning though, these dynamic features would be a luxury that I could afford to do without.
