• Hi

I would like to use traffic statistics and other hosting features (emails and etc) for my sites on my multisite network. I have a VPS with Plesk 10 so I can create hosting accounts for each domain.

SO far I have not succeeded in the task. Does any one have any idea or clue on how to achieve this? Is it all a dns configuration?

If you know how to do it with cpanel/whm I would like to hear as well.

    Kindly

    Tom

  • You don’t.

It’s one installation, one database, one set of files.

The email you can set up by pointing the MX records wherever you like, but setting up a hosting account isn’t it.

in plesk there is a way of course to add domains under one account/subscription

they can be added with hosting, without hosting (just dns) or with forwarding. I thought that wordpress would physically create a directory under the site root when sub-folders are used, but have not seen that happened, nor under the blogs.dir.

anyone else has any idea? I am ok with the accounts created under one subscription in plesk (in cpanel this will be like add-on domains).

The blogs are virtual. There will be no folders made.

create them as parked or add-on domains with their home folder the same as the multisite install.
