• I am new, 2 months now, to WP and blogging, and this is my first post to the forum.

I have my site up and running now. I LOVE WP, and first want to thank everyone who has had a part in it’s creation and support. I hope someday to help with it myself, as I learn to make my own themes and plugins.

I searched first to look for information on creating forms for WP. Have not found what I need. I want to be able to do 2 things.
1- create a form for my websites to capture information that the veiwer can imput, and be able to save it for my use. Example, filling in an application.
2- create a form/table, that is tied into a database. One example, I want to collect information on plants and trees, etc. Imput it into a table/form that is searchable. Columns could be: Common Name | Latin Name | Annual | Bi-annual | Perinial | Propagation Method | etc. I would gather and imput the info, and the visitor could view it, and search it. Just like an MS Access file.

How do I do this? Is this already in place in WP? Where do I find the information?

Again, thank you all for your help and support.
    Tom Fisher
