   I used to have a feature on my site that allowed people to create custom RSS feeds by appending the cat IDs to the feed URL.

   I took the feature down as it was causing some overhead issues on the shared server but I am now on a VPS and so was working on implementing it again when I noticed that the feed URLs now no longer appear to work this way.

   Is there a way to duplicate this feature again with the new version of WP and does anyone know why this appears to have been removed? Was the change documented anywhere?

   I'm not sure what you mean, exactly. You can make a category link into a feed just by adding /feed to it, like you can any page on a WordPress site.

   Example:
   http://www.tabletopgamingnews.com/category/painting-matters/feed

   See?
