   Is there a way to create separate groups of users?

   On this site, we are trying to separate our list of regular authors from contributors on the sidebar.

   From what I understand though, all users are lumped into one group.

   Is anyone familiar with a plugin that can add this functionality, or will we just have to hardcode links to author pages instead?
