[resolved] creating a url for page (4 posts)

    I know this is a stupid question but when I create a page in wp how do i manually set a url insteading of using the one wp gives me?

    On the page editor, over at the right side, look for the "slug" field.

    do you mean post slug?

    do i just enter the url there

    i.e. http://www.blah.com/blah

    Yes, that's what I mean. And no, you don't put a full url there.

    If you want the page to be http://www.mydomain.com/blah/ (assuming your blog is installed at http://www.mydomain.com, of course) the "blah" is what goes in the slug.
