Hi, I am wanting to know if this the right way about making a plugin to keep track of the stats for my softball team.
My softball team is made up of players, who play in tournaments. So I would have a list of players and a list of tournaments. I figured I would make these custom post types because I want to be able to go to a players page or tournament page and see things about them. For the players I would want to include name, number and an About Player section. For the tournament I would want to have things like the Tournament Name, Location and date.
So here is the tricky part. For each tournament I need to keep the stats for each player. The stats would be how many at bats, hits and homeruns a player had for a tournament.
So does anyone have any suggestions on what the best way to let a user enter in the players stats for the tournaments? Thanks in advance for the help!
