I am using WordPress as sort of a sudo CMS (works great for my simple site). I am having a hard time with one particular aspect of my site. I would like to create a categorized link page, not just in the sidebar but rather in its own page(or pages)that I can link to from my main page. It would be great if there a links plugin that would handle this, similar to a link/bookmark manager that exists in many CMS systems. Would anybody have any suggestions as how to best accomplisth this?

    Thanks!

http://redalt.com/downloads/ - scroll down to the "links page" title and download it there.

some help with usage is here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/32956?replies=39

I'm using this plugin all over the place... it's so simple, because you just put the links in via the WP links page, and they automagically pop out onto your links page, in categories, with a dropdown! It's fantasmic.

Thanks guys, these are both very good. Although I tend to see ladydelaluna's suggestion as working best for me. Any other suggestions?

    Hi,

I'm also needing to accomplish a directory and I like the layout shown here: http://www.phplinkdirectory.com/demo/ since it has sub-categories. I'm wondering if any of you have created a directory in a layout similar to the one above with the program ladydelaluna referred to? Can you accomplish the same sort of results with that plug-in like the php link directory demo above? Thanks.
