Hi I'm working on a site that was modified from the Magicblue theme and need to know how do i have a fading background color in my header and body of site. For example it would go from real light gray and get darker towards the bottom.

Here is an example of a site that has a fading background. http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_colors.asp

What file do I go into to change the body color of the site? Thank you.

There are literally thousands of WordPress themes - which means that many people won't be familiar with your particular theme. So a link to your site where people can see the theme might result in more responses.

I was asking if anyone knew how to make a gradient background. Where a color gets lighter or darker. The link I gave was just an example of what I mean. If you notice that website's background fades from a dark gray to white.

2nd part of question was: What file do I go into to change the body color of my site? Thank you.
