Created categories disappear

    I have a new blog. When I add categories to it, they disappear. Whether I add the category in the “New Post” section or the “Categories” section, they always disappear after I create them. Even if I create a new category while writing a post, and then publish it, the published post will say it’s uncategorized.

    Anyone have an idea what the issue is? Thanks.

    Do you have any plugins installed? If ‘yes’, have you tried deactivating them? Have you tried switching to the default theme to rule out a theme-related prob,lem?

    I swapped over to the default theme and it worked fine, so it’s an issue with my theme I’m developing. I’ll go with a different one for now. Thanks!
