   I *love* TubePress however the fact that it doesn't import private
   YouTube videos, or local videos, is unfortunately a deal-breaker.
   When this feature is enabled I will gladly use the plugin (and even
   part with some money for it).

   In the meantime, does anyone know of a video gallery equivalent (that
   looks like TubePress or is very similar -- see here for example http://tubepress.org/demo/) that would allow me to post local videos (that I upload from my computer) or private youtube
   videos?

   You could use Smart YouTube and just embed your videos into a post or are you trying to do something else?

   I'm trying to do something else. Specifically:

   1. Create a thumbnail gallery of my videos (not just a vertical listing of videos embedded into a blog post)

   2. Display videos that are *not* located on YouTube, but rather uploaded directly from my computer.

   ditto, can't believe there are not plug-ins for this outside of the FLV Gallery, which appears to be abandoned.
