    Hello,
    i'm trying to figure out how to make my 'links' page have two columns. I'm using the Simplr template & just cant seem to get a foothold on it anywhere.

    Any ideas?

    here's a link:

    There is a Multi Column Link List Plugin that you could try.

    Yeah, i tried that, but it basically ignores the link categories & just groups them all together & divide them into columns.

    I'd really like to specify Link Categories 1,3,5 in Column 1, Link Categories 2,4 in Column 2 etc.

    Make any sense?

    Hmmm, this shouldn't be too tough.

    You'd have to make a template page for your links, since sticking the code in through the editor isn't possible, and add the code to that template file to call the bookmarks:
    <?php wp_list_bookmarks(); ?>

    You should be able to include this tag twice, and have each show different categories using these parameters:

    exclude_category
    (string) Comma separated list of numeric Category IDs to be excluded from display. Defaults to (no categories excluded).
    category_name
    (string) The name of a Category whose bookmarks will be displayed. If none is specified, all Categories with bookmarks are shown. Defaults to (all Categories).

    Then style the page into two columns. Or, run one tag in the page template, and one in the sidebar.

    Here is the documentation for wp list bookmarks

    Thanks! I ended up stealing some code from a table that i created on another page & ripped it to shreds. here's how it turned out:

    Here's the code

    <tbody>
    <tr>
    <td valign="top">
    <table style="height: 150px;" border="0" cellspacing="3" cellpadding="15" width="100%" bgcolor="#ffffff">
    <tbody>
    <tr bgcolor="#f0f0f0">
    <td valign="top" bgcolor="#f0f0f0">
    <div>
    					<ul id="linkcats" class="xoxo">
    <?php wp_list_bookmarks('title_before=<h3>&title_after=</h3>&category_before=<li id="page-%id" class="%class">&after=</p></li>&between=<p>&show_description=1&category=2,6,9,10,24,25') ?>
    </ul>

    </div></td>
    <td valign="top" bgcolor="#f0f0f0">

    					<ul id="linkcats" class="xoxo">
    <?php wp_list_bookmarks('title_before=<h3>&title_after=</h3>&category_before=<li id="page-%id" class="%class">&after=</p></li>&between=<p>&show_description=1&category=7,8') ?>
    </ul>

    </td>
    </tr>
    </tbody></table>
    </td>
    </tr>
    </tbody></table>

    It would great if someone could implement a plugin that produces a semantically logical ordered list that wraps into vertical columns:
