   Hi folks

   I am trying to create my custom user registration forms in my wordpress website. I am finding it difficult to do so.

   Here is what i want to achieve, there will be custom user registration form (username, company name, contact details etc) and after login user will see a page where he can submit some articles but he will not be having other controls of the site which we have in wp admin.

   Also i want to send email on every user registration and article submission.

   Can anyone please help me with this?

   I recommend getting a plugin to do the bulk of the work for you. Not sure what the state is with the freely available plugins. We still use Gravity Forms for all this. It can create users and assign the roles. You can hook into WordPress and GF to make sure they have the right capabilities for what you want.
