   Hi all, My requirement is as follows. I need to create a user (subscriber or contributor) which can post new posts only in a selected category or page. that user can only post in that particular page or in the category.
   He can perform any action on other pages or categories other than reading them.
   Any Idea ? please help..

   For the categories, look at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/user-cats-manager/

   Posts are not assigned to pages so can't address that part of your question.

   Thanks for the quick reply..

   I'll explain more;

   There is user called 'Bob' and there categories 'Science','Maths' and 'Music'. 'Bob' can post new posts only in category 'Science' and he can't post any new post in category 'Maths' and 'Music' he can only read them.

   how I perform this ?

   Im pretty much new to the wordpress. Please help me..
