Create a theme with single AND double column depending on the page (1 post)

    Hi everyone!

I am creating a WordPress theme, and I would like to use two different layouts: for some pages and the sibgle articles I would like to have a double-column layout with the sidebar on the right, and on other pages I would like to have a single column layout with the sidebar below the content.

I have looked around, at first I thought of conditionnal tags (like on these two tutorials "hide the sidebar" and "get a different sidebar"), but I cannot figure how to implement that.
It would be useful to have two sidebars with two different styles, one for the double column layout and the other for the single column layout, and the tutorails aboce help me to do that, but how to style the content then?
How to have my "content" div switching from 500px to 900px depending on the page?

    Thanks for your help!
