drkknghthow would i go about embedding a text widget NOT in the sidebar?
i know custom themes get crazy with placement, and can feature them in various places across the sidebar and/or footer and such. i was actually hoping to place one just below the header.
the goal is to serve a simple-enough purpose; just a simple string of text. however, i thought it'd be easier to make edits and updates to this area via the widget page, rather than always editing the header.php file.
any tips?
