   When I call up the 'Write' page, the TinyMCE icons don't load, the 'Save' and 'Publish' buttons constantly blink, the "Draft Saved at" time is constantly updated with the WRONG time...

   ...and I can't switch to a different tab in Firefox. In IE7 it does the same thing on the page but doesn't crash the browser.

   This is an upgrade install.

   I also tried deactivating all plugins, and the issue still exists.

   The browser is not completely taken over. I can click links inside the WordPress admin to navigate away from the 'Write' page.

   I had the same problem (read the last post)

   In my case it was caused by my own stupidity. Replaced both the wp-admin and the wp-include folders but forgot the files in the root directory when upgrading.

   Plase check that you have uploaded ALL THE FILES.

   I just re-uploaded all the wp-admin and wp-includes files, and the issue still remains.

   Anyone have any ideas?

   But DID you upload all the files in the root directory too???
