Crashing in IE (8 posts)

Hello, I was wondering if maybe you can help. I did up a quick WordPress installation on GoDaddy and installed the Eclipse theme because it was requested. But it crashes on IE8 for some reason, then does a recovery and works on the second time around. But if you refresh it crashes again, recovery, works, etc. I tried disabling Javascript in IE8 and then it doesn't crash, but it also doesn't do the fancy (and cool) features of the template. Is there any advice you might have on what is causing that or where to start looking?

It seems to work fine in Firefox, even a very early version.

By crashing, does the website produce a blank page?

It doesn't get that far. It just goes to Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close before refreshing for the new page. It then does a recovery of the tab and it loads after the recovery until you try to go anywhere or reload the page. And then the requester again. Thanks BTW for the fast reply.

On a reload, it says at the bottom that it's download bgimg.png when it crashes if that is any help.

  5. Site URL?

  7. Fix yur code errors [Invalid] Markup Validation of iamawingnut.com - W3C Markup Validator. Scroll down in the validation report to see line numbers and source code. And use Dev Tools in your browser to see other errors, like the three "400 Error bad Request" links to google fonts.
