Could you post a link to one of your galleries, so I can have a look?

On all the sites where I installed Jetpack, the issue is the same.
You can try on your own demo carousel : http://jetpack.me/support/carousel/#jp-carousel-822
Just double click (not single click) on one of the thumbnails and strange things should happen…

When I double click on a thumbnail, the Carousel opens, then closes immediately. I tried in the latest version of Google Chrome. Do you use a different browser?

Could you let me know what you see on your end, or post screenshots of the errors you see? You can use a service like http://snag.gy/ to post your screenshots here.

Could you also let me know your site URL, so I can check if things behave differently on your site?

You got it ! On double click on a thumbnail, the Carousel opens, then closes immediately. Thn the page is useless until I refresh it. It does that with Chrome latest, IE latest, and Mozilla Firefox latest for every site I installed jetpack on…
This behavior is confusing for my clients wich are used to Double click everything 😉
You can see as an exemple the same bug here:
BTW, thanks a lot for caring…

I can see how confusing it could be. We’ll take a look at it and see if we can solve this issue.

I don’t have an ETA for that fix, but I will post again here as soon as I have some news.

The problem was fixed in r727649-plugins, and this fix will be included in the next Jetpack release.

I saw that, and upgraded to the new release. I thank you very much for this reactivity, but I would really have prefered the total disabling of doubleclick event. The carousel is no more broken, but open and closes back. then when single clicking again on a thumbnail, the first image is scrambled, and you have to scroll to the next image to make it work correctly again…
Tell me what you think about it.

Could you post some screenshots about this? I’m not able to reproduce this issue on my end.

    like this
    And should be
    like this
Seems like a blue overlay sticking on the image…

Thanks for the screenshots, it’s very helpful. This blue overlay appears when you select something on the page. Since double clicking is used to select things in your browser, when you double click your browser assumes you are trying to select the image.

I’m afraid there is not much more we can do here, as we can’t really change the default behaviour of your browser.
