I’ve several wordpress installations, but on my major site I’ve a problem.

When I update my menu, edit or make a post sometimes the CMS logs out by itself. Sometimes it’s announced in the statusbar, but most of the times it happens unexpected. I don’t get it. My suggestions is that when there is a problem, it should be there all the time.

I already contacted my hosting company, but they tell me it’s not a problem they can solve.

After log in again, sometimes the configuration is reset and in a couple of minutes that restores again.

Can somebody help me with this problem?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

I don’t have tried your suggestions.

The website is live and pretty busy at the moment. So I don’t want to mess up the looks at the moment. Thereby comes the problem that sometimes it’s working all fine, so I should try it for several days and that’s not what I want at the moment (never actually).

I hope then it will improve when there is a new release of WP, but with the last update the problem didn’t solve.
