   I have been browsing for a while looking for a feasible solution, researching what others use for their wish lists.

   what I would like to create is a website very similar in function to this: wishlistr.com. new users existing user database, bookmarklets, share with friends features, search for public profile, compare prices.

   as you can see this website is built in cakePHP.

   what would you recommend me that I use in your opinion?
   *cakePHP
   *ruby on rails
   *wordpress
   *drupal
   *joomla

   Also, where I to use php & mySql, can I install and manage mySQL database on an Mac OS 10.6 server please?
