   For some reason, FeedWordPress is pulling posts from as far back as 2005! I went into my WordPress dashboard and MANUALLY deleted all the posts from 2005-2007, HOWEVER, when FeedWordPress did its scheduled update, I again had a TON of old posts from as far back as 2005.
   One of the reasons this is so important to me is because all of those posts cause my site to run really slow (even on high speed DSL).

   So, I have a few questions:

   1) How do I stop FeedWordPress from pulling all old posts when it updates (I only want updated stuff)?

   2) How the heck do I get rid of those pesky duplicate posts?

   3) Also, how do I force FeedWordPress to put ALL of the updated posts in the correct category? For some reason, when it updates, some of them go into the right category and are tagged properly, while others go into "uncategorized" and are not tagged.

   I'd REALLY appreciate any help!

   Hi there, there is a seperate plugin to filter feeds here.

   I hope it helps you, but I recently stopped using feedwordpress after upgrading to 2.5.1 as whenever it was active, I could not drag my widgets.
   I now only activate it once a week to grab the latest feeds that i need.

   I had this same problem... The Duplicate Post Filter is great for removing repeat entries that I post, but I'm also getting lots of old clips from '05, '06, etc. How can I fix this on my end?
