   It appears (on multiple installs) that WP-OpenID is no longer figuring out endpoints properly, and is always returning:

   Could not discover an OpenID identity server endpoint at the url: perkypants.org

   If I put the real endpoint in (perkypants.org/openid), it all works fine. Other OpenID consumers are happily determining the endpoint from the <link> tags found in the source of http://perkypants.org/.

   I'm having the same problem. I'm discovering this with a LOT of OpenID sites. Very disappointing.

   I'm having the same problem on a single install of WP on my own server. It used to work just fine for a month or so and suddenly seems to have stopped working :(

   I've updated the php-openid library and released v2.1.6. I tried using perkypants.org on my site, and discovery worked fine. of course I couldn't authenticate, but it at least discovered the openid server alright.
