    I haven' used wordpress for years, it seems that all of my plugins i used in the past are outdated or are taken down.

    Could anyone recommend some following great plugins to get me started again?

    I am looking for plugins that will work with the 3.2.1

    I need the following

    A great SEO plugin so i can edit descriptions, titles, keywords of every page especially the home page. I seen one called SEO Ultimate will this plugin do everything like this?

    I also need a way to rewrite my urls for SEO friendly purposes. For example i need my urls to show up as mysite.com/keyword instead of mystie.com/?$20=3251 or something like that lol.

    Oh great, does it have a url rewrite as well? I am looking to change messy urls to clean ones like this mysite.com/keyword instead of mystie.com/?$20=3251

    Mate,

    looks to me, you're pushing the wrong buttons. Unfortunately I've got a non-English admin-interface so I'm translating from my backend into English - try to find anything similar to that...

    You need to adjust the settings of your perma-links first. You find those under an option called (or similar to that)

    -> SETTINGS -->> permalinks

    more information on permalinks you'll find here

    Using Permalinks

    If that doesn't work, you must check with your host, if your hosting plan meets the minimum requirements for "pretty urls". At this point, I simply presume you know how to do that - if not - come back, OK?

    Good luck!
