Problem: Costom menu would not save hierarchy changes
Sympton:
1)Appearance -> Menues -> Hit + tab on the top to create a menu
2)enter menu name and hit "Create Manu" bottom.
3)Adding 2 pages and drag the 2nd one to the right to make it 2nd level.
4)Hit "save menu" bottom to save the hierarchy change
5)The 2nd item get back to the left which means the top-level
This feature used to work fine and I did nothing for a while and today I found this issue. After I found this issue, I have uninstalled some of the menu related plug-ins though.
Environment:
Workd press 3.1.3
Issue date: 6/26/2011
Host: ipage
Theme:Twenty Ten 1.2 by the WordPress team
Plug-ins: none (3 but all inactive)
Have you tried:
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
- re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

I have tried the followings and any of these does not resolve my issue:
1) uninstalled all the plug-ins
2) uninstalled theme and reinstalled
3) uninstalled wordpress and re-installed
4) Tried different version of wordpress and themes

I found that chaning my browser would not cause the issue.
IE 9.0.8112.16421IC has this issue.
Google Chrome 12.0.742.112 does not cause this issue.
Not sure if this is related to an option/setup.

It was the browser issue.
Now I don't have any issue. I guess keeping up with Windows update would help.
