[resolved] Corrupt database? - page not loading past header (3 posts)

Last night I was finishing a new post and I went to preview it and I noticed something was buggy to begin with when the preview opened in the same tab, rather than a new one.

The site loaded the header and then just stalled.

I tried loading the main site and it stalled as well.

Tried loading the site in another browser and could get the main page to open as well as access my dashboard but once I tried to view the site again, it stalled again (I'm guessing the front page was loading because of the browser cache).

Now the site simply stalls on all browsers after the header loads.
I've talked with my web host and he said there were some SQL issues last night and it sounds like he may have been in the middle of a backup and/or fixing the issues when I went to preview the post.

I can still access my dashboard/admin side of things but I can't get the site to load past the header - even tried using the Maintenance Mode plugin and it doesn't help - so I'm assuming there's a corruption to the database.

My posts and pages still all appear fine in the dashboard - they're just not viewable to the public.

Any ideas before I ask him to restore the database?

Thanks. I think we finally figured out that its an issue with a plugin - one of the Tweetback or Tweetthis plugins.
It was apparently creating a persistent connection to SQL.
Suddenly my pages are blazing fast! Dang those plugins.
