   I am doing some research into setting up a blog on our website and am trying to figure out the most effective way of going about it.

   Currently on our website (amburapp.com), the blog posts appear on amburapp.com/blog.

   I was wondering if starting a blog on WordPress.com and linking it ("Map it") to our WordPress site would be more beneficial? So for example, the updated blog address would be blog.amburapp.com.

   Does that offer any SEO benefits? Any other benefits?
