Correct Use of WordPress? (2 posts)

I represent a company that built it's website on WordPress. Initially, it was built as essentially an online brochure, and hosted a downloadable catalog of our products.

However, our website now needs to serve more fully as a tool. This means we need to have a navigable "menu" of our full product list, and downloadable material for each product.

we also need a section that hosts a relatively large number of downloadable files but this section should only be accessible by multiple passwords, etc.

All of the above NEEDS to be searchable within our site via a search box.

Beyond the above criteria, other parts of the website should sport the typical marketing garb found on websites.

My question is can WordPress support all these features and be easily updated to reflect new products, projects, images, etc.?

We have an amazing graphic designer but he needs help coding and assembling the site itself. Any insight about the implementation of the features listed above or where to turn for coding/assembly help and/or feasibility would be very much appreciated.

ITs all done with WP. But some plugins will be necessary

look for members plugins for the password requirement, you can assign users to custom levels. I know role scoper is one such, I think members only is another
