    Hey,

I make copy of wordpress (files and database) for a new domain. Change db variables in wp_config and domain in db dump.

After this operations not all wp options are copied. For example I had problem with menu position and background image options. They are in database but new copy of wp not using it.

What can I do to copy these wp options correctly?

    These options are theme specific.

    Thanks for replay.

Theme in the copy is the same. I change only domain name in database dump.

Why WordPress don't load options in a copy with new domain name? Maybe it connected with some cache functionality.

Theme in the copy is the same.

In the loal install, it is still anew theme. You will need to set the menus etc up again.

Why WordPress don't load options in a copy with new domain name

Because that's not how it is designed to work.

In the wp-options table of the database.
