Coppermine into 1.5 Kubric..

I am pulling my css from

It does not use the wp-layout stylesheet anywhere. I just copy things over as I need them or notice something isn’t styles correctly.

The mail subscription page is based on the subscriber plugin.

I have used the instructions from podz site to utilize a wp-top.php and wp-bottom.php file to call all the header and sidebar info for my static pages and index to keep from maintaining several files of duplicate code.

Then just modify your Coppermine template.html and style.css file from your selected Coppermine theme…

edit your coppermine theme’s template.html file so that is has the exact same layout as your wordpress template…

if you want to add static html-content (for example your site logo), edit /themes/yourtheme/template.html - add/remove anything you want, but be sure to leave everything in that is in brackets.

The best help I can give is to find a Coppermine theme VERY similar to your WordPress layout (there are several you can look at on their demo site – http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/demo/) and start changing the format, one piece at a time, until it matches. It will help you become familiar with the code (in WordPress AND Coppermine) so you aren’t in the same situation when you decide to update WordPress OR Coppermine….

Wish it was as easy as activating a plugin…but it’s not….*sigh*…maybe one day…i’ll forever be waiting i guess, because i love coppermine…
