Cooments Problem – Counts Not Shown in Posts

Hi there,

I am in the process of moving my 2 blogs from wordpress.com to my own wordpress.org hosting.

All is imported fine in new blogs (posts, categories and comments), except that i can see comments imported when i go to dashboard commments section but they do not appear on blog posts comments counts … shows “no comments”, even though they are they if I click the post.

The issue is only for the blog which is around 12MB of exported data, as the other one, which is only around 1.5MB, all comment counts are shown properly.

BTW, in both cases I do not get any error messages when using the import feature of wordpress.org ….. What can be the problem.
