[resolved] Cookies to filter content of blog and other elements (3 posts)

I want to use cookies to filter the content of the blog, but I am unsure what the most practical way to solve the problem is.

E.g., user clicks location A, B, or C. I'll save that to a cookie, but then I want to only show posts (and events/pages) for that location. Many other pages will be identical regardless. Should I use tags, categories, make separate blog pages/sites, a "network," etc?

I am relatively new to WordPress and I appreciate the help.

Yeah, it looks like categories will do. I still want to remember the location the user selected, so I'll need cookies for that, but I can figure that out.
